1UK: Master's by Research and PhD

In plain words:you spend most of the degree on one research project with a supervisor. It is the usual first step to a PhD, and your research proposal decides a lot.

A research Master's (MRes, MA or MSc by Research, MPhil) lets you work on your own project under a supervisor, and is a strong first step towards a PhD. Admission depends on your proposal and your fit with a supervisor, so that is where we spend most of our time with you.

1.1Who it suits

You have a 16-year degree, a research topic you care about, and want a route into a PhD or research career. Research-based courses are also treated differently from taught Master's under current dependant rules, so we check this for your specific course.

1.2What we handle

  • Supervisor matching

We shortlist universities and academics whose work matches your topic, and help you write a first email that gets a reply.

  • Research proposal

Structured feedback on your question, literature, method and timeline until the proposal is ready to submit.

  • Application and SOP

Personal statement, CV and reference guidance, and managing deadlines across several universities.

  • Scholarships and funding

University scholarships, fee discounts and external funding you are eligible for, with a realistic budget.

  • CAS and credibility interview

Deposit, CAS request, and mock interviews so you can explain your course, plans and finances with confidence.

  • Visa file

Financial evidence, TB test, English test, IHS and the online application, checked against current UKVI rules before you submit.

Ask about UK research degrees

2UK: taught Master's and Bachelor's

In plain words:a shorter, structured degree. You study modules and sit exams instead of doing one big research project.

Most UK taught Master's take one year full-time, and most Bachelor's degrees in England take three. You follow set modules with exams and coursework, then a dissertation or final project. It suits students who want a structured, faster route into a specific career.

2.1Who it suits

You want a recognised UK degree in a structured format. Taught Master's need a completed degree; Bachelor's need good intermediate or A level results. Both usually need an English test. Under current rules, students on these courses generally cannot bring dependants.

2.2What we handle

  • University and course shortlist

Courses matched to your grades, budget and career plan, with realistic and ambitious options.

  • Statement of purpose and application

Feedback on your SOP and CV, and managing every deadline for you.

  • Scholarships and fee discounts

University scholarships and early-payment discounts you are eligible for, with a realistic budget.

  • CAS and credibility interview

Deposit, CAS request, and mock interviews so you can explain your course, plans and finances with confidence.

  • Visa file

Financial evidence, TB test, English test, IHS and the online application, checked against current UKVI rules before you submit.

  • Graduate Route guidance

What the Graduate Route allows after your degree under the rules at the time, and how to plan for it.

Ask about UK taught degrees

3Turkey: study visa and admissions, all levels

In plain words:recognised degrees taught in English, closer to home and usually much cheaper than the UK.

Turkey offers English-taught Bachelor's, Master's and PhD programmes at state and private universities, with tuition and living costs well below the UK, and a large, welcoming Pakistani student community.

3.1Who it suits

You want an affordable, recognised degree close to home, are applying for Türkiye Scholarships, or want a campus in Istanbul, Ankara or other major cities.

3.2What we handle

  • University shortlist

State and private universities matched to your grades, budget and preferred city, with English-taught options.

  • Türkiye Scholarships

Guidance on the Türkiye Bursları application, motivation letter and interview preparation.

  • Admission and acceptance letter

We handle applications and follow up with universities until you have your official acceptance.

  • Document attestation

HEC and MOFA attestation, translations and the paperwork Turkish universities and the embassy ask for.

  • Student visa file

Complete visa application for the Turkish mission in Islamabad, with a checklist reviewed before your appointment.

  • Arrival and residence permit

Housing options, what to do in your first weeks, and help applying for your student residence permit.

Ask about studying in Turkey

4Malaysia, the European Union and other destinations

In plain words:we can help almost wherever you want to go, with Malaysia and Europe the most popular after the UK and Turkey.

The UK and Turkey are our specialism. We also handle admissions and study visas for more than 20 other countries, all from our office in Islamabad.

4.1Malaysia

Malaysia offers English-taught degrees at every level, often with international branch campuses, at a cost well below the UK. Once you hold an offer, your student visa is processed through EMGS, and we prepare the documents with you.

Ask about Malaysia

4.2The European Union

Each EU country sets its own admissions and student visa rules, so we start by choosing the right country for your subject and budget. Some public universities charge low or no tuition, and many programmes are taught in English. We currently guide students to Germany, Malta, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania and Romania.

5Method

In plain words:five steps, and the earlier you start, the easier each one is.

Most students start 6 to 10 months before their intake. Starting early gives time for supervisor contact and scholarship deadlines. Table 2 shows a suggested timeline; yours will depend on your intake and university.

AAppendix: common questions

What is the difference between a Master's by Research and a taught Master's?

A taught Master's is mostly modules, exams and a short dissertation. A Master's by Research is mostly independent research on one project with a supervisor, ending in a thesis. It usually needs a research proposal at the application stage.

Do I need IELTS for the UK?

Most students need an approved English test, although some UK universities accept alternatives such as medium-of-instruction letters in certain cases. We will tell you which test and score each university on your shortlist needs.

Can I take my family with me to the UK?

Under current UK rules, most taught Master's students cannot bring dependants, but students on PhD and research-based postgraduate courses may be able to. Eligibility depends on how your specific course is classified, so we confirm this before you apply.

Do I need to speak Turkish to study in Turkey?

No, if you choose an English-taught programme. Many universities offer full programmes in English. Learning basic Turkish helps with daily life, and Türkiye Scholarships students usually complete a Turkish language year.

How much do your services cost?

Your first assessment is free. After that, we give you a written quote for the services you choose, so there are no surprise charges.

Do you guarantee a visa?

No honest consultant can guarantee a visa, because the decision belongs to the embassy or visa authority. What we promise is a complete, accurate and well-prepared application.

In short, we promise a complete, honest file, not a guaranteed visa.
